Karen Lea Lindvall, 62, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on January 11, 2019 at Jefferson Health Care from cancer. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO. Visitation will be held directly after a short service.
Ms. Lindvall was born January 1, 1957 in Kansas City, MO. Karen loved music and singing. Broadway shows and acting brought her great joy. She was an intense Kansas City Chiefs fan. Karen liked crafts and dressing up. She also loved being around family and friends. Karen was very thoughtful, helpful and kind to all. She had one son, Erik, who was the light of her life. Her ability to love others was contagious. She loved her step daughters (Michelle, Angela and Audrey) as her own. She retired from VA Medical Center where she met many life time friends. Randy Lindvall, her ex husband, remained a very close friend through it all. Karen was a fighter through thick and thin.
She was preceded in death by father Billy Joe Fiser, mother Mary Ann Fiser, step daughter Audrey Kathyrn Lindvall, and niece who passed away one day after Karen, Sarah Jane Fiser.
Survivors include son Erik Lindvall (wife Savanah, their daughters Audrey and Lily), sister Jan Fiser (son Steven James and wife Dana and their children Landon and McKenzie), brother Bill Fiser Jr (wife Mary, son Clinton Fiser and his wife Samantha and their boys Clinton II and Colton), brother Scott Fiser (wife Krista, their children Grace and Adam).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Rest in Peace Karen. We will miss you.

Karen, it is so hard to say goodbye to you…a lifelong friend. I sit & reflect on the many moments of our times together. I willl always remember your quick smile & infectious laughter!! You have touched many lives and now our dear Lord has touched you…arms tight around you in total peace & comfort. Rest in peace dear friend.

I grew up living next door to the Fisers. We were good friends and there are so many memories that I cherish to this day. Karen was a beautiful soul who touched all she knew. I will always remember her giggle! She was a treasure…we will miss her. God Bless you all. Love, hugs & prayers.
