Kay F. Smith, 81, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, in the Marceline Cemetery, Marceline, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, KC, MO; www.CRHCF.org.
Kay was born and raised in Marceline. He served in the Army and was a member of American Legion Post #499, Blue Springs.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Carlyle and Yolanda and Buddy Smith; two sons, Don and Debbie Smith and George and LaReine Smith; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie K. Smith.
