Dear Sheryl & extended McCallum family. After many years, (50 at least) it was good to make contact again, even though it had to be such a sad occasion. I learned of Keith’s death through Judy Boerman of Rockford, Ill. who I have been in contact with for several years. My husband and I share your sorrow even though we have not known keith in a personal way. I remember him & his brothers & sister as small children playing together in the upstairs appartments of his family and our grandpaents in Edgewood. I have pictures of us playing in the park along the Missippi river at family picnics. During the summer of 1995 I had the privilege of visiting with both Keith’s mother in Independence & his father in the nursing home in Anamosa. It was good, & I am thankful I had the opportunity. The video of Keiths life & reading the condolences in the guest book tells the story of his life very well. He must have been a fine man, and again we are sorry for your loss.

Dear Sheryl,
Dad just told me that Keith has passed. I’m so sorry to hear that. His suffering has ended though. His trial is over. Now he can rest comfortably in Jehovah’s memory. How I look forward to seeing him again. May Jehovah, who is the God of all comfort, continue to bless and comfort you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sheryl and family, There are so many things I would like to say but I will have to write you later. The most memorable I remember was when you were in labor with Kevin and I sat with you at the house. Because Duane was born in Dec and Kevin in Jan I believe. I will write more later. God bless you all and hold you in his hand through this difficult time. Your Aunt Donna
Our Love and sympathy, we have found memories of good times with you both.

Sheryl,
You have our sympathies. At times like this the resurrection hope becomes very powerful for us.
We noticed Orville Kluth in the background of one picture and remember when they began to study with you & Keith. May the God of all comfort, comfort you in your loss. (2Cor 1:3,4)
Though it has been years since we had seen each other, we are happy to know that Keith has been a faithful servant of Jehovah and is peacefully awaiting the reward of his faithfullness-the Resurrection into the New World. (Formerly of Marion, IA & now Texas.)
My deepest sympathy Sheryl and family. May you have many good memories to help you through this trying time. Love, Donna

Dear Sheryl –
May God be with you at Keith’s death and during your time of mourning.
As I read your e-mail, I could think of no more appropriate Word of God than John 3:16, which is especially comforting at a time like this. The God-Man, Jesus Christ, willingly gave up His life and died so that in death we would not lose ours. He is the good news, i.e., the Gospel, of God to all of us sinners whose wages are death.
In Christian sympathy,
– Ron Simpson
