Kenneth D. Ivy Sr. age 70 of Centralia, formerly of Fayette, passed from this life Monday morning October 20, 2008 at his home. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2008, at First Assembly of God (Centralia). Visitation will begin at 6pm and the memorial service at 7pm. Kenneth was born September 9th 1938, in Howard County to Loyd Ivy and Edna John Ivy. On June 2, 1956, he married Darlene Vinyard in Fayette. Kenneth is survived by his wife Darlene and his children, Randy Ivy and wife Mandy of Ashland; Ronnie Ivy and wife Pat; Rebecca Kersting, Gina Goss and Kenneth Ivy Jr., all of Centralia; one brother Denny Ivy of Mexico, and several nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Kenneth worked as supervisor for Richardson and Bass Construction for thirty-seven years as well as other road construction companies. Kenneth attended First Assembly of God Church in Centralia, MO.
