Kenneth Wayne Stevens, III, known to his family and friends as “Kenny,” was born on November 6, 1997, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Donna Osborne and Kenneth Wayne Stevens, Jr. He passed away on June 4, 2026, doing what he loved. As one friend so fittingly said, Kenny “…lived life to the fullest, chasing every adventure, embracing every moment, and finding freedom in the open road.”
Kenny was many things to many people, but those who knew him best remember someone who never let life pass him by. He was always willing to lend a hand, quick with a joke, and the life of the party. His infectious personality and generous spirit drew people to him, and he had a gift for turning acquaintances into lifelong friends.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and anything with an engine.
Whether he was hunting, fishing, working on cars, riding motorcycles, or simply enjoying the freedom of the road, Kenny embraced every opportunity for adventure. Throughout his life, Kenny worked a variety of jobs and was most recently employed with Kenny’s Tile and Floor Coverings. Whether making deliveries or lending a hand wherever it was needed, Kenny was the kind of person who simply got things done. He was someone others could always count on.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wayne Stevens, Jr.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Donna Osborne; his sister, Casey, and her husband, Aaron; his brother, Shadow, and his wife, Brooke; his niece, Elizabeth; his nephew, Kade; along with many extended family members and a wide circle of friends who were like family to him. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Chronic, his cat, Blue, and numerous cherished pets who brought him companionship and joy throughout the years.
Though his time here was far too short, Kenny’s laughter, kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering willingness to help others will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and adventures shared by those fortunate enough to have known him.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Missouri 64133.
