Kenneth Widerski, age 83, of Independence, Mo., died Monday, June 11, 2007, at Monterey Park Nursing Center. He is survived by his wife Dorthea (nee Neutz) of Independence; one daughter, Laurel Smirl (nee Widerski) of Independence; two sons, Ronald Widerski of Illinois, Michael Widerski of Arizona; one brother, Robert Widerski of Minnesota; one sister, Mary Ann Novotny (nee Widerski) of Minnesota. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren survive. He was preceded by one son, Thomas Widerski of Illinois, and two great grandchildren. Memorial service to be held at Acsencion Lutheran Church, 4900 Blue Ridge Blvd. in Kansas City, on Saturday, June 16, at 11:30 a.m.
