Kevin Lee Solomon, a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 14, 2024, after a courageous battle. Known for his resilience and strength, Kevin faced life’s challenges head-on, but his heart finally gave out, leading him to the eternal hunting grounds in Heaven.
Kevin is survived by his cherished daughter, Josie Lee Solomon (Conner Sierks); his adored grandchildren, Aspen, Meadow, and Everly; and his beloved son, Chantz Riley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Corinna Lea, who passed away on November 12, 2001. He is also survived by his loving parents, Raylene Solomon of Independence, MO, and Richard (Donna) Solomon of Springville, IA. Kevin’s brothers, Jamie Solomon of Grain Valley, MO, and Kraig (Heather) Solomon of Pleasant Hill, MO, will deeply miss him. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, including Ashlee, Tyler, Cody, Jacob, Trenton, and Kaylei, along with several great-nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles.
Kevin’s passion for life was evident in his love for hunting, fishing, grilling, and spending time with those he held dear. He was happiest in the great outdoors, often accompanied by family or friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. His humor, spirit, and unwavering loyalty were a blessing to all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society on December 6th,2024 from 5-7pm located at 802 NW Vesper St, Blue Springs, MO. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his memory and sharing stories of a life lived fully and loved deeply. No services are being held, so feel free to come and go as you please.

Kevin will always be the trouble making kid to me. He was great fun to be around. I know he is hunting this season with Danny. They’ll get the 15 point buck. We love ya Kevin.
