KRIS KYLE KENNARD
Kris Kennard passed away peacefully at his home on August 23, 2013.
He was born to James L. and Nancy Jean Mason Kennard in Kansas City on March 18, 1959. He lived all of his life in the Lee’s Summit, Lake Lotawana, and Grain Valley, Missouri areas. In 1986 he was married to Linda Briegel Kennard who survives of the home.
His other survivors include his father, Jim Kennard of Lake Lotawana, Missouri; siblings, Kimberly Kennard Bracken, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; and Kurt Kennard and his wife, Jana, Warsaw, Missouri; aunts, Meredith Hahn, Cameron, Missouri, Gina Beery, Eaglesville, Missouri, Anita Drumright, Topsham, Maine, and Beverly Kennard, Phoenix, Arizona; numerous nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces; many cousins; his parents-in-law, James and Barbara Briegel, and brother-in-law, Brantley Briegel, Lone Jack, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother and his brother, Kip Kennard. He had recently reaffirmed his faith.
Kris was a Lee’s Summit High School graduate and he worked in construction and home/business renovation in the Lake Lotawana and Kansas City areas until illness forced his retirement.
Kris is to be cremated and a Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
The family wishes to especially thank his caregivers from Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care for the exceptional care they provided for Kris, and a heartfelt thanks to all his family, friends and neighbors for their steadfast love and caring concern.

We are all saddend to hear of Kris’s passing. I have only fond memories of visits to Missouri and spending time with all my cousins.
Our thoughts are with you and the many family members and friends that were part of Kris’s life.
I want to express my deepest sympathy to Linda Kennard, my coworker and friend and to the rest of Kris Kennard’s family. I will keep you all in my prayers. May God comfort you in a way that only He can.

Dear Linda and Extended Kennard Family, I am deeply saddened to hear of Kris’s passing. I know he fought valiantly and that he had many cheerleaders who encouraged and comforted him. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at your loss.

I’m saddened to hear of Kris’s passing I knew him and his brother Kip as young men. Both where good friend’s to me. I know god will bless their family’s and watch over them.
