How do you sum up twenty-some years of friendship in one message to Kristin’s family? There simply aren’t enough words. It is heartbreaking to know that Kris is no longer in this world, sharing that light so many of us loved.
Kris had been in and out of my life since we were 15 years old. Life sometimes took us in different directions, but somehow the universe always brought us back together. Whenever it did, the years between felt like only a day or two, and we picked right back up where we left off.
Her bright smile and unmistakable “IDGAF” attitude were always highlights. Our friendship held so much laughter, joy, and a few tears. She was part of the years that shaped me from a kid into an adult, and I will always be grateful for those memories; so many memories!
To Kristin’s family, Kevin & the kids, my heart is with you. I hope there is some comfort in knowing how deeply she was loved, how fiercely she loved you, and how much she meant to those who knew her. She will be so greatly missed.
Rest easy, Kris. Thank you for the beautiful friendship for so many years and the memories I’ll carry with me always.
