Lacy Annette Faherty, 52, of Independence, Mo. crossed over Wednesday , February 18th 2015 at home. She was born on March 23rd 1962 in Kansas City Missouri daughter of George and Dolores Faherty. Memorial service will be Sunday March 15th, 2015 at Junior Services League of Independence from 2:30 to 5:00pm.
She is preceded in death by her father George Faherty, Maternal Grandparents Ray and Maragaret James, Paternal Grandparents Henry and Katherine Faherty. She is survived by her son, Dylan M. Jones, mother Dolores Faherty, brother Charles Lee Faherty and sister in law Dianna, sister Cynthia Lynn Olivas and brother in law Pete , sister Lisa Smith and sister Lory Wilcher. She has 9 nieces and nephews, Chad Faherty, Brandon Faherty, Ryan Faherty, Angie and Jim Oliver, Jonathon and Terry Rank, Steven and Stacy Rank, Chris Smith, Ashley Wilcher, and Jessie Talley as well as 12 great nieces and nephews.
Lacy worked at Design Mechanical and Waldinger Corporation as a warehouse manager. She was an active member of the Moose lodge. She attended Van Horn High school and Longview Community College. She lived an active life full of family, friends and animals. She will be missed by the many she touched. She will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

Lacy was a spirited individual who touched our lives with her spark and wit. She helped plan our wedding. This is something we will always remember and hold dear to our hearts. She touched so many lives, in so many ways. Maybe someday we will throw a party as good as she could. Always in our hearts and never forgotten!
