Laine was my first Relief Society President when I was called as the Bishop of the then new Blue Mills Ward. What a great lady she was. So full of love and compassion for all in the Ward. She was selfless and dedicated and spent so much time in the service of her fellow sisters and their families. It has been my pleasure to keep in contact with Laine over the years since when I had the opportunity to work with her. She will be much missed by family and all who knew her. To Tasi and family, my heartfelt condolences and love go to all of you in this sorrowful time. But with the knowledge of the Gospel, great joy comes to us as we know that you all will be reunited with her again.
    Love,
    David and Jill Whipple
