Laura (Flo) Hembree 91, of Kansas City, Mo passed away July 31, 2024 at Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024 at Heartland Funeral Home, Raytown MO. Visitation will be held 10:00 am Aug. 6 before the service. Ms. Hembree was born July 18 1933 in Dade County, MO.

Flo retired from the United States Postal Service after working there for 29 years. She worked previously in the insurance field. Flo enjoyed being a member of the Blue Springs Daughters of the American Revolution. She also enjoyed volunteering for the Turman Ticket Center, Shepherd Center (Raytown) and as a Youth Friend for the Raytown School District. Flo was also a member of Eastgate Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include: son Todd Hembree, daughter Laura Jensen (Russell), three grandsons, Ryan, Christopher (Bailey), Wesley (Lydia) and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Eastgate Christian Church or Kansas City Hospice.
