Lawrence Anderson

Lawrence Ralph Anderson, 78, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away August 8, 2023, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center from natural causes.

Mr. Anderson was born January 9, 1945, in Jamestown, North Dakota. Lawrence was employed as a license officer for the Village of Skokie in Illinois from 1973 until his retirement in 2010. He then relocated to Overland Park, Kansas. Lawrence enjoyed fishing, traveling and sports. He was a lifelong fan of all the Chicago Sports teams. Upon moving to Kansas City, he also became a big fan of the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs. Much thanks to his chihuahua, Star, who brought him much love and enjoyment during his final years.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his son Lawrence, who passed back in 2001 and his longtime partner, Carol, who passed away a year ago from prolonged illness.

Survivors of Lawrence include his daughter Kathleen Frederico and son-in-law Anthony Frederico of Kansas City, MO, grandson Corey Brubaker who resides in Maryland with his wife Mary Ashley.

Memorial contributions are suggested to go to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

    I am saddened to hear about Larrys passing..we worked together for many years at the village of Skokie. Condolences to his family and furry friend!
