Larry was quite the character. As a kid getting started in the real estat business, he kind of took a liking to me for some reason. He could come off a little gruff at times, but he sweet underneath. Over the years, I always looked forward to talking with him. He always was able to put a smile on my his face whether he was sharing a kind word of advice, negotiating for his client, or talking about his race horses back in the day. Larry was one of a kind and I am sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

Larry was great & a breathe of fresh air in real estate. I first met him several years ago when I had clients buying a property/building to use as a Church in Indep, my clients could not afford near the asking price… Larry was the listing agent & came to the church meeting & spoke to the group w/tears saying “the community needs it and the kids need it”, if it wasn’t for him going to bat for us with the seller, that church wouldn’t be there today. RIP Larry. Amy Corn

  43. Zella Riley on April 4, 2019 at 2:14 pm

I was really sad to hear this news. Larry sold my listing a couple of years ago and was the only reason that the transaction closed. He was the only professional in the transaction (that included attorneys) who was able to untangle and solve the problems of a home tied up in probate. His deep, deep knowledge of all facets of a real estate transfer is practically non-existent in the real estate business today and will be sorely missed. His type of professionalism based on knowledge and service is almost gone. When I read about his accomplished background, I understood his talent a little more. In addition he was so NICE!!!! What a gentleman. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
