Leonard L. Bram of Leawood, KS passed away Monday, September 29, 2008. He was born July 9, 1922 in Salina, KS, the son of the late Leroy Bram and Bridget Curry Bram. Mr. Bram was a self- employed flour broker prior to retirement. He was previously associated with Kelly Erickson Jones flour brokerage in Omaha, NE. He was a 1947 graduate of Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO where he participated on the debate team. Mr. Bram served in the Army in the 263rd. Antitank Company Infantry Regiment in WWII in northern France and was awarded the Bronze Star. A memorial service will be held at Cure’of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd., Leawood, KS 66206 on Friday October 3 at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held at the Highland Memorial Gardens in Apopka, FL at a future date. Mr. Bram is survived by his wife Ethel Mary Fallon Bram, Leawood, KS; his five children, Mary Katherine Weitkemper, Omaha, NE, Karen Sue Miller, Omaha, NE, James Michael Bram, Lithia, FL, Thomas Edward Bram, Havana, FL, John Patrick Bram, Apoka, FL and 8 grandchildren. Mr. Bram was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Flynn Bram on January 4, 1994. Friends may make memorial contributions to Catholic Community Hospice, 9740 W. 87th St., Overland Park, KS 66212.
