Leonard Martin Church

Leonard M. Church, 74, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 after he succumbed to cancer. A casual memorial gathering will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Faith Baptist church, 414 S. Franklin St. Raymore, Missouri.

He was a good man who had a passion for automotive’s. Leonard worked as a diesel mechanic in the Lancaster, PA. area until 2003. In his spare time he enjoyed car shows, tractor pulls, rodeos, fishing, hunting, spending time with family, and helping anyone he could.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl D. Church; his mother, Edna Church; and his sister, Helen Evans. Leonard is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diane Lawrence Church; children; Vickie Lawrence and husband Donald of Northeast, MD., Tara Carty of Northeast, MD., Dean Church of TX., and Sarah McGuire of MO. He is also survived by his brother, Edgar Church and wife Blanche of PA.; as well as seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
