Liane Bunting, 65, of Grandview, Missouri passed away March 26, 2014 at her home after a long illness. Private services will be held April 2, 2014 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri. Mrs. Bunting was born August 23, 1948 in Bamberg, Germany. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for several years, retiring in 2011. Liane greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed the time she shared with her grandchildren. Liane was preceded in death by her father, Robert Betts; mother, Eleonore Betts; and brother, Robert Betts, Jr. Survivors include her loving husband, Gary Bunting, Sr.; son, Gary Bunting, Jr. and his wife, Theresa; daughter, Kristen Bunting; brother, Michael Betts; sister, Mary Marion; grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley, Anastasia, Daniel and Bridget; many other family members; and a host of great friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Liane’s name to Kansas City Hospice, 1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy., Ste. 200, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.

Sending prayers to the family. Liane was truly an awesome person. She was generous, kind, sweet and a heart made of gold. I am so blessed to have met such a wonderful lady. She was an inspiration in my life. I will remember her always and I will never forget the kindness she always gave to me.
