Linda Atkinson, 52, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away January 31, 2007. A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. on Monday, February 5, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society in Raytown, Mo. Linda was a longtime member of A.A., and a member of the former Heart of America Indian Center. She loved animals and participated in animal rescues. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Dale Atkinson, a daughter, Diana Sue Atkinson, and a son, John Paul Stanfield. Linda leaves behind her mother, Hilda Brown, her children Dana Weir, Leonard Booth, Leslie Booth, Andrew Stanfield, and Daniel Stanfield, and five grandchildren. The family requests memorials to Wayside Waifs.
