Linda Bessinger

Linda Bessinger, 70, of Raytown, MO passed away on Wednesday, August 19th at home from terminal brain cancer. No services will be held due to COVID (and Linda hated to be the center of attention), however, we hope that everyone will celebrate Linda in their own way.

Linda was an avid book reader, loved to hike at various trails, play games, organize anything, volunteer her time at REAP, and spend time with her granddaughter, Sadie.

Linda is survived by her husband Randy, father, Bill Lewis, sister Sherry (Bill) Knox, brothers Ron (Chris) Lewis, Jerry (Diana) Lewis, children Keith (Nell) Bessinger, and Sara (Troy) Lovins, and granddaughter Sadie Lovins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory at https://glioblastomafoundation.org/ or  https://www.diabetes.org/

Linda was a very special person, beautiful inside and out. I knew her through my sister Sue Nicotra and remember them hanging out together in high school. I remember her long hair. She was adorable and made you feel good just being around her. My sympathy to her husband, family and friends. God Bless you. RIP Linda.

I wanted to express condolences to Randy and the Bessinger family for the loss of Linda. I was her Dental Hygienist for years and enjoyed her visits every 6 months. Always a book in hand, we would talk about her reading, catch up on the kids and hear how Sadie was growing. She loved her family so much. Linda was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. God Bless you all. RIP Linda.
