Linda Diann McClain, age 71, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Heart N Soul Ministries,118 W Walnut St. Raymore, MO 64083.
Linda was born November 28, 1953 in Newport Beach, California, a daughter of John and Martha Pearl Smith. She married, James Lawrence McClain, Sr. on January 10, 1981 in St. Louis, MO. She enjoyed spending time with family and her cat, Tigger. Linda loved to crochet and sing gospel music. She was a strong believer in her faith and loved attending church.
She is survived by five children, Christina Lee King of Clinton, MO, Lisa Marie Andrade (Victor Andrade-Bribiesca) of Overland Park, KS, Angela Sue Mahoney (David Mahoney) of GA, Mark Noah McClain of Poplar Bluff, MO, Michelle Lynn Ellifritt (Mathew Louis Ellifritt) of Clinton, MO; sister, Sharon Wright of Granite City, IL, sister, Martha Kruep (Paul Kruep) of Granite City, IL; thirteen grandchildren, Samantha Jo Kayler, Brittany LeeAnn Maguire, Alyssa Marie Maguire, Jasek Andrew Maguire, Colton Timothy Wigger, Sarah Jean Mahoney, Allen Mahoney, and Joel Mahoney, Blake Mathew Richeson, Lucas Ray Gloyd, Vivan Duffy Gloyd, Alexis Michele Ellifritt, Noah Mathew Ellifritt, five great-grandchildren, Dawson Lee Choate, Alexander Rhylen Young, Marcy Marie Dawn Kayler, Harmony Annette Chamberlin, and Grayson Oaklee Maguire; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Frederick Smith and George Smith.

Linda will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
