Linda Humphrey

Linda M. Humphrey of Jefferson City passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born March 15, 1952, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Alfred J. Thoenen and Evelyn Marie (Clarkston) Thoenen. She was married on September, 22, 1973, to Donald “Pete” H. Humphrey who resides in the home. Linda worked at Cheesebrough Ponds, managed several stores, and was a cashier for Westlake. Survivors include Ann (Brad) Roark and James Humphrey, both of Jefferson City, and ten siblings, Bernard “Bernie”; Alfred, Jr.; Kelvin “K” (Cindy Lou); Rita (Earl); Dwight “Herb” (Beverly); Joan; DeWayne “Wayne” (Cindy); Mary (Brad); Allen (Bessie), and John. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children, including her double niece and nephew Crystal and Paul, as well as many close friends. Special mention to Dawson, AJ, and Aubrey. A private family ceremony is planned and she will be laid to rest in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

    We will miss Linda. She is very beautiful and always so nice and friendly. Saw her often at Westlake’s We had an awesome visit at Christmas and enjoyed spending time with her. Our thought are with all the family. Let us know what we can do to help. Love always. Margaret Thoenen and family. I will never forget Judy helping Joyce with her first realestate Sale for Linda & Pete.

    I had the pleasure of working with Linda at Westlakes. She was always upbeat and made me laugh. I also grew up to the house next door to Linda’s mom. My deepest sympathy to the family.
