Linda Cyrus

Linda Cyrus, 63, Peculiar, MO passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at her home in peculiar, Missouri. She was born January 15, 1945 at Roach, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ray Dean Eidson Jefferies and the late Finis “Buck“ Cyrus. She is survived by her mother Ray Dean Jefferies of Peculiar Missouri, a sister Glenda Sue Cyrus of Kansas City, Missouri. She accepted the lord at an early age and was baptized and joined the Macks Creek Baptist church. Linda graduated from Camdenton Missouri High School and enrolled in college at CMSU. She joined the Sigma Kappa sorority at CMSU where she met some very special people and stayed in contact with for 40 years. After college she taught music in Macks Creek school and Osceola, Missouri. She went to work for West Central and was there for 13 years. She then went to work for Mid-West Assistance Program and had been there for 26 years when her health wouldn‘t permit her to continue. She was a very loving special caring daughter who always thought of others before herself. Linda had lots of friends who loved her very much. She had a great sense of humor and never lost it through all her suffering. Her memorial service will be held at Hedges-Scott funeral home in Macks Creek Missouri on Saturday, December 13, at 11:00 am, visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cancer Action 2708 W. 43rd Ave., Kansas City, KS.
