Our family had the pleasure of knowing Linda and Morgan since the time Morgan was a toddler, attending St. Matthew’s Daycare. Linda was an amazing person and her devotion to Morgan and commitment to being a loving mom was evidenced through every breath she took and every thing she did. While her passing leaves a painful void and we will miss her beautiful spirit and smile, we are blessed to have known her and to have spent time in her presence. We pray for Morgan – that she will feel God’s strength, love, and peace.

To Morgan and the Johnson Family,
Our deepest sympathy to you all. I’ve known the family for about 27 years and I meet Morgan, the day she was born in the hospital. You are so beautiful and your mother loved you so much. Sorry for your loss. Casey and I will see you at the service.

Linda, you have been in my thoughts almost constantly. We all miss you and wish that your time with us and Morgan could have been so much longer. This will be a tough week for all of us. We will do our best and continue to support Morgan. I hope Morgan will welcome my continued support and I will be there for her for the rest of my life. Thank you for your gift of friendship. It was always a good time to hangout with the both of you.

Morgan, you were so blessed to have the mother you did. I’ve known your mom since we were in gradeschool at Belvidere. I’ve never seen anyone fight as hard as she did, and I know that you have the same “fight” in you as well. You can do anything you set your mind to. You’re also blessed to have Jennifer. I loved your mom a lot, and I already miss her. I love you too. If you ever need someone to talk to, call me. I live in Independence now too! Love you lots, sweetheart.

I am so sorry for your loss Morgan. I haven’t met you but I knew your mother from Grandview High School. She indeed was a fighter and will be missed.

    Aunt Linda,
I will miss you so much. I will never forget all the great times we had when I was younger. You took me everywhere with you and we always had a blast. I tried to do everything you would let me when you got sick, I just wish you would have let me do more. I will do everything I can for Morgan now that you are in a better place. I will miss you more than words can describe. I love you so much and I love that little girl just as much.

Linda was very kind and very courageous. She was instrumental in helping me with Select Choir in a very difficult time and I will never forget her support and her kind spirit. To go through what she went through and to still be so involved with Morgan and the school is a testament to her character and resolve. Deepest sympathy to Morgan and the entire family. It’s been a real treat teaching Morgan and it’s no surprise that a woman as wonderful as Linda would raise an equally wonderful daughter.

God bless and you’ll always be in our thoughts and prayers,

    Drew Holcomb

Morgan if there is anything I can do for you at all please do not hesitate to call on me…
