I am very saddened to hear of Kathy’s passing. She was a very dear friend of mine and I lost touch with her after high school. I have, after 30 years, moved back to Neosho and have many times passed by the house she grew up in. I’ve never forgotten her; she taught me what good friends were all about. She was always happy, kind and smiling. I pray for comfort for her family and for her sons.

I attended most of high school with Kathy. She and I were not close friends but she was a classmate that always seemed to be a good person. She was very quiet and I never saw her being mean to anyone. I am so sorry to hear of her having the horrible fight with cancer and then losing that battle. My condolences to the whole family.

Just wanted to send my most heartfelt sympathy to Kathy’s family. Kathy and I met in a unique way on March 14,2006. We were involved in an automobile accident on Hwy 50 just east of Tipton. We stood together in the field that evening and I could tell Kathy was a special person. Although our visit was short it was meaningful. I’ve never forgotten her and was saddened to read of her passing in our local paper. I’ll always remember Kathy and am grateful our paths crossed. They will cross again one day and I will see her again. To Kathy’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss.

Dear Georges: I know that you were expecting that Kathy would leave us far too early. I was shocked to find her obit in yesterday’s paper. My mother always said after the death of my sister and nieces in the plane crash that “there is no pain as that of losing one’s child”. From my experiences, I new that you are hurting. Kathy suffered, Kathy was brave. God, being the wonderful Healer, will give all of you, Sawyer and Cord, the strength to accept this. May HIs Arms envelop all of you. Norma
