Linda Sue Reed

Linda Sue Reed, 75, of Independence, MO passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Maywood Baptist Church, Independence, MO. Gaveside services will be held following the service at 3:30pm at Oak Ridge Memory Cemetery. Linda was born July 6, 1943 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Ernest and Margaret Sandy. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1961 and later married John Richard Reed. John preceded her in death. She worked for four different banks as a bank teller for 45 years. She loved to play Bingo. Linda also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. On beautiful summer days she loved going to garage sales. Linda was an avid KC Chiefs and Royals fan. Most of all she was a wonderful grandmother and was very proud of her three granddaughters. Survivors include; daughter Danelle, son John both of Independence, MO, brother Ernest of Independence, MO, sister Maryann of Searcy, AR, and her three granddaughters, Kelsey, McKenzie, and Makaela also of Independence, MO. Linda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She will truly be missed by her family and friends that shared her joys in life.
