Linnea Monica Mountz, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 9th, 2024. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15th at 3pm followed by a Memorial Service at 4pm at Tiffany Greens Golf Club.
Linn was born to Stanley and Edith Edgren, and grew up in the Chicago area. Linn attended the University of Illinois where she met the love of her life, Gary Mountz. The two were married in 1963. Linn’s most treasured job was being a mother to their four children, Wendy, Jennifer, Lisa and Tim. Linn enjoyed entertaining and creating beautiful memories with her family and friends. Vacations at Orange Beach or any ocean setting were always at the top of the lists.
Linn was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley & Edith Edgren, sister Judy Hilgenberg, and two daughters, Wendy Linn and Lisa Joy. She leaves behind her loving husband Gary, daughter Jennifer, son Tim and daughter-in-law Renita. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Ryan, Shill, Isabella, Hannah and David.
Linn would appreciate any memorial contributions to be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
