Lois Davy

Lois J. Davy, 94, of Jefferson City entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Heisinger Bluffs. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 at St. Joseph?s Cathedral, 2305 W. Main St., with Msgr. Robert Kurwicki officiating. Lois was born August 21, 1912 in Niagara Falls, New York to the late Peter and Edith (Forsythe) Keough. She married Thomas Davy, also of Niagara Falls in 1934 and he preceded her in death. Lois was a homemaker and active in her local parish of St. Mary?s in Niagara Falls as well as the New York Republican Party. She and her husband Tom retired to St. Petersburg, FL in 1969 where she became active in her parish of St. Raphael?s until she joined her daughter and family in Jefferson City in 2003. Lois is survived by her daughter Gail Steinbruegge, son-in-law Jim and grandson Robert all of Jefferson City. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Heisinger Bluffs Skilled Nursing Unit, 1002 W. Main St., Jefferson City, MO 65109.
