As a son in law I could not have asked for a better Mother in Law. She accepted me into the family with open arms. I’ll miss you Lois. RIP
Lois was such a classy, beautiful, fun and loving soul! She was a very dear friend of the Nolte family as she and our mom, Marty, were besties for many years! We will miss your smile and your joy of life! We are thinking of Kathie and the entire family and hope you find comfort in all of the wonderful memories. Much love, Kittie and Murray
My Mom, Mart,y couldn’t have had a better friend than Lois! She was there for her through joy and heartache over many decades. I will always love Lois and remember her with a smile. Kathie, you and your family are in my heart and prayers.
I always admired Lois for her beauty and zest for life. My husband, Lindy, and I enjoyed getting together with her and Bill 30-40 years ago, along with Murray and Marty and several others. I know having Lois as a friend was an enormous help to Marty after we lost Murray. I was so happy that Lois had several fun and happy years with Earle. She certainly deserved them. I will miss her.
We were really glad my dad & Lois reconnected after all those years. It revived & energized him & it was fun to see them having fun together. Lois was the perfect hostess for our Kenyon gatherings and she delighted in the little kids. She welcomed us as her own, but the love in her heart for her own family was unmatched! We miss her heartwarming smile, her sweet spirit, the many stories of her adventures & that she didn’t miss a thing right up to the end, sometimes even to my happy surprise. It was great! Love, Randy and Barbara
Aunt Lois will be greatly missed by Kim and I. Her zest for life, smile and laugh were contagious to everyone she was around. We always made a point to stop and see her on our trips from Colorado to southern Illinois. She was a gracious host and and always opened her home to us on our travels. My mom, Norma, always thought of her as the “fun” sister bringing a laugh and smile to everyone she encountered. We were so happy that she met Earl, they made a wonderful couple and enjoyed each other’s company making both of their last living days a joy for each of them.
Aunt Lois you will live forever in our ??
Aunt Lois you will live forever in our hearts!
Lois was a dear friend of ours for all the years we lived in Overland Park. A lady in every sense of the word! We had the opportunity to visit with Lois in June of 2017 at John Knox Village. We also met Earl Kenyon while we were there and love the fact they had found each other. Our lives are richer to have had Lois as our friend.
