Lois Von Mayden, 92, of Independence, Missouri, passed away August 19, 2022, at home. There will be a memorial visitation on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 4-6pm, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Lois was born September 15, 1929, in Yellville, Arkansas to Lonnie and Hannah Jones.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Marvin Mayden and infant daughter Brenda Rae Mayden. Survivors include her sister Joyce Still of Yellville, Arkansas; three children Robert L. Mayden, Independence, Missouri; Erna L. Rhoades, Independence, Missouri; Samantha T.L. Dufva, Kansas City, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Lois was such a great neighbor, she shared her love of flowers and gave us starters from her plants. She spoke fondly of her family and loved it when we brought her treats.
Thank you Lois, we will miss your sweet smiles and waving to us us! RIP ??
