Loren Julius See, 80, Olathe, Kan., passed away Wednesday July 29, 2009, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Terrace Lake United Methodist Church, 4500 Red Bridge Rd., Kansas City, Mo. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral at the church. Interment in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Terrace Lake United Methodist Church, Olathe Hospice or Good Samaritan Society. Loren was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Verdon, Neb. Loren was a veteran of the U.S. Army and later worked for TWA as a Systems Analyst. Loren is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Jo; son, Dwayne "Bear" (Becky); brother, John See, New Mexico; sisters, Beth Collins of Wichita, Kan., and Darlene Stirton of Horton, Kan.; grandchildren, Kristin (Jay) McConnell, Jarrod (Kerrie) See, Joshua (Tara) See, Bethany (Tim) Adell; great grandchildren, Alyssa Rae Sebol, Dylan Lee Sebol, Shawn Patrick McConnell, Austin Julius Adell, Carter James Adell and Emery Jewel See.
