Louise Smith, 98, Parkville, MO passed away March 20, 2013, at Garden Valley Manor. A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Monday, March 25, 2013, at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133. A visitation will be prior to the funeral and begin at 10 AM, at the funeral home. Louise was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by 3 children; Herbert Smith, Goldie Stroud, and Esther Jones (Carter), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Hospice Advantage and the staff of Garden Valley for the wonderful care they showed Louise.

Grandma was a sweet and loving person. You cant help but love her. The way she always made sure you gave her a hug and kiss before you left. She will be missed

Louise was a beloved member of Garland Ave United Methodist Church in the East Bottoms for most of her life. We will miss her greatly but know we will see her again in heaven. What a wonderful lady. Our sympathy goes to all her family. You are in our prayers.
