I am a 5th grade teacher at Fire Prairie. I don’t know what to do without my main man, Lowell, at Fire Prairie! I always knew I could swear like a sailor and he’d join right in with me if we were ever frustrated together. The kids loved doing “jobs” for Lowell even though they were supposed to just get some Lowell lovin’ for that time. He was a wonderful man and just “my guy” to laugh with here. I hope you are working towards a peaceful journey and remember all of the joy that Lowell brought to your family. He will be missed so much. Peace Lowell…keep hunting and fishing in heaven.

Lowell you are going to be missed so much, everyone loved you and you were always kind to people . I had many laughs watching you grow up , such an energetic kid. I remember when you used to get in your car and peal out all the way up your dad’s driveway and slam the breaks on just in time not to go through the back of the garage. You never did…… We all grew up and I got the privilege of watching Cody and Chase in my daycare until they started school.I had a lot of fun with those two. You and Angie were great parents and you could always see how much you all loved each other. I pray for strength, comfort, and peace for your mother Virginia, your wife Angie, your sons , your 3 fur babies and all your loved ones in this very sad time….. RIP my friend.

I’m the Speech Therapist at Fire Prairie. My first year in the school was last year and Lowell always went above and beyond to ask me if I ever needed anything. The beginning of this year, he was working diligently helping me and many others get our rooms ready. He was a hard worker and cared about so many. He made me and many others laugh. He also gave great advice regarding marriage, work, and just life in general. We had some great conversations right before his passing. He made a huge impact on my life. I than God I got to know him the past year. My dearest condolences go out to his wife, children, and other family. Praying for you all. He will he truly missed by his FP family and so many others.

Lowell was such a great person. He always made everyone feel like they were part of a family the first time you meet. I am a floater for the Fort Osage School District. My first time working at Fire Prairie Lowell took me around the buliding and showed me what I was going to do and made sure I was alright before he left me. I will miss him dearly. My condolences to his wife , Chase, and other family members and friends.

Lowell shall forever be in my heart. I’m a retired teacher of two years who has worked with Lowell for many years. I’m remembering the early mornings I’d come in and catch him singing in the hallway as he worked on his task. Lowell was always so very kind and generous and giving of his time. He always made me laugh and I will be forever grateful that he was a part of my life. My heart goes out to those he left behind. I will miss seeing his smiling face. Words, however general, cannot take your loss away. Holding you close at heart in thought and prayer, asking the Lord to bring comfort, peace, and strength for each of you. Love me some Lowell ?

Lowell was a special man and he will be greatly missed. He was wonderful to work with and I loved running into him after I left Fort. He always greeted me like a long lost friend and we picked up right where we left off. He was one of the good ones and its hard to imagine life without him. May God give the Wade family a special peace and comfort during this time.

Angie, Cody, Chase, and Family…I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your husband, father, son, and all-around great person. Lowell has been my good buddy at FP for a long time and was a delight to work with. He never failed to make my day better by sharing a joke, a laugh, or helping in any way he could. His loss is deeply felt by all those who know and love him. Cody and Chase, your dad and I talked about you a lot over the years since you were both my kiddos. One thing that was always apparent was how proud he was of you both. Life has not always been easy for either of you, but your dad took pride in your resilience and desire to do more. This loss is incomprehensible right now, but your dad’s zest for life will continue through the both of you. I’m sending love and saying prayers of peace for you all.

Even after a week it is still hard to grasp the concept that Lowell won’t be at school or around the neighborhood any longer. I have known that he had been in pain for a long while. We would talk when we could about the most recent aliment or way to get around it. If there is a blessing to this , it is that I know he is without pain now and is just up in heaven getting everything ready to go for the rest of us. To his family, We send you our blessings. Lowell is going to be missed by many, many students and adults alike.
