Lynda Gayle Ganaden, 79, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.
A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Missouri. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Lynda was born on May 28, 1947, in Laurel, Mississippi, to Harry and Judith Dickinson. On May 25, 1985, she married the love of her life, Michael Ganaden.
Lynda had a deep love for photography and spent many years in her earlier life working as a hair stylist. She later enjoyed a fulfilling career at River City Studios and cherished the past 15 years of her retirement.
Lynda enjoyed camping and traveling the country with her husband, Mike, creating many cherished memories along the way. She had a special place in her heart for animals, and she and Mike shared their home with many beloved cats and dogs over the years. Lynda also loved celebrating holidays, decorating her home, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Ganaden; her sons, Jeff Ganaden and David (Patty) Ganaden; her brothers, Doug Bogart and Tony (Serena) Bogart; her sister, Jackie Bogart; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA in honor of Lynda’s love for animals.
So sorry for your loss. The times I got to be around Linda she was always full of laughter and compliments. Last time I saw her was at Robert Ganaden’s funeral (my step-dad) she was full of smiles. Mike I’m so sorry for your loss She will be greatly missed

Ralph and I have know, worked with and loved Lynda for what seems like always. Lynda was a remarkable angel all her life and will continue on to care about all of us she knew and loved from the beyond. Rest in peace, sweet Lynda. You will be missed.
Praying for her precious family. She will be missed by a lot! I always looked forward to our Facebook conversations. Sending our love and prayers from Panama City! So thankful for the love she showed my Papa Henry & Granny Pat!
Lynda was such a sweet, loving and hardworking woman! It was my privilege to work alongside her and share her joy. At work we referred to ourselves as Lucy snd Ethel because it seemed like we managed, quite innocently, to get ourselves into some of the craziest situations!
Mike, Jerry and I send you heartfelt condolences and treasure the memories of shared dinners, football games and love of animals. Time spent in the company of Lynda and you was always full of laughter and memory making moments. Know that we will continue to keep you in our hearts and prayers.
