Marc LaFond, 79, passed away on January 23, 2021. Marc was born November 15, 1941 in Kankakee IL.

Marc served in the US Air Force, worked as a Forest Ranger in the Grand Tetons and retired from General Foods in Kankakee IL. Marc was an avid motorcycle rider, racer and a huge fan.

Marc was preceded in death by his father Laverne LaFond, mother Evelyn Wezalis and his half-brother Joe Wezalis. He is survived by his daughter Marcy Elkins (Scott), 2 grandchildren Cody Miller (Ryley Crabtree) and Hannah Miller, and brother Wallace C. LaFond.

    My deepest condolences. Marc and Wally were two of my best friends when we were very young. Marc’s last years in life were pretty horrific. Thank god he had a brother to care for him. God loves you Wally.
