Margaret Grantham

Margaret Grantham, 87, Belton MO, passed away July 14, 2007, at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home In Belton. She was born Dec. 26, 1919 in Kansas City to Frank and Leeta (Leinbach) Hewitt, and lived in the Kansas City area for most of her life. Margaret was a longtime member of Presbyterian churches and enjoyed teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and weekday church school. She was incredibly fond of children, music, reading and animals. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Harlan Grantham, four children, Robert Grantham of Mansfield, TX, Barbara Curry of Lee?s Summit, MO, Elaine Foiles, of Kansas City, MO and Martha Hadden of Delta, CO. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. There is a memorial service planned in her honor, Saturday July 21st, 2007 at 10 AM at the Belton Presbyterian Church, 122 Main street, Belton, MO. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Grace Hospice, 9200 Ward Parkway, Ste. 410, Kansas City, MO 64131.
