I was a good friend of Marie while she was Oak Towers. We would eat dinner at her place and have icecream at mine. We enjoyed watching the show Whipeout together. She was a good friend to me and we counted on each other for support when either one of us needed it. She will be greatly missed not only by me but by several other residents of Oak Towers!

    Marie,
It has been a long time since I have seen you and I know you are at peace. I remember the old day working with you and then having fun at home. Peace friend!

Heartfelt condolences to Melissa and Josh and to Fortune and Marie’s siblings and other relatives stateside. Due to the thousands of miles between the States and the United Kingdom we only met Marie on her two visits to England aged 1 and 17 and on our visit to California when she was 13. The memory is of a beautiful golden girl and it is so sad that her life has ended at such a young age. Look us up if you ever travel over the Atlantic.
Love Uncle Victor and Aunt Desiree

    Dear Fortune,

I just heard last night about Marie passing and it broke my heart. She and I had gone our separate ways after a long and wonderful friendship, but she has always been in my heart. I’ve thought about her often over the years, hoping life was being good to her. Thank you for blessing me with her during the time we had together.

    Much love,

    Joanna

Marie was my first true love in college and I had not talked to her in 30 years. To hear of her passing has ripped a hole in my heart that has never really healed. I am so sorry for her loss and hope she knows how much she meant to me and after all this time. And, I hope I get to see her again in heaven.

I hardly know what to say. Marie and I met in San Jose where she was the Best Friend a person could ever ask for. We lost touch when I left and moved back to Indiana. i so regret not being in touch those years and to see she’s been gone so long breaks my heart. Just know I loved her and her beautiful Melissa……?
