Marilyn Dawn Petterson, 60, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away March 17, 2011.  Services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Unity Chapel at Unity Village, Missouri.  Mrs. Petterson was born March 7, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Siefkas and her father, Robert Durbin.  Survivors include her husband, David Petterson; children Jennifer Helvey, Marc (Sarah) Evason; grandchild, Micaela Helvey; sisters Janice Durbin, Sandy McGowen and brother Bob Durbin.  Marilyn will also be missed by her close friends Mike Smith and Steven Patterson, mother-in-law Arleta Petterson and her pack of furry children.

 In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to Wayside Waifs or other animal rescue organization in Marilyn’s memory.

    Marilyn I will miss you so much but I know mom will be there to pass you over. I wish there would of been time for us to talk so I could of told you how much I love you, I never stoped being your sister and I will always love you

    I love you so much its so hard to belive that you are gone! I regreat not being around more and you being able to get to know savannah. you will be missed but i know your in a better place…
