Marilyn Teeter, 73, of Independence, MO passed away January 30 2010 in Independence. Ms. Teeter was born June 24, 1936 in Fayetteville, AR. She retired from the Kansas City Police Dept. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Nova Teeter and a brother, Howard. She is survived by a brother, Charles and sisters Cathey Teeter and Rebecca Gale and 9 nieces & nephews. Memorial services will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to Stewards of Bethel Cemetery, P.O. Box 149, Gravette, AR 72736.

    I believe Marilyn was my mother. I just received a birth certificate that lists her as my mother. I was born on July 26, 1961 and adopted 4 months later. If any of her surviving relatives read this, I would be so grateful if they would contact me.
