Mark Gerard Biehl, 67, of Pittsburg, Kansas, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. Mark was born on July 15 in St. Louis to Grace (Grimshaw) Pflueger and Albert Biehl. He was a thoughtful and steady man who lived his life with quiet strength and genuine care for those around him.
Mark was a devoted husband to Julie, an engaged and loving father, and a proud grandfather. He was deeply involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren, taking an interest in who they were and being there for the moments that mattered. His quiet strength and the love he gave so naturally will continue to be part of their lives. His greatest joy was his family.
Mark was not a man of many words, but when he spoke, people listened. He chose his words carefully, and his quiet wisdom, patience, and thoughtful nature made a lasting impression on those around him. Mark will be greatly missed and forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Zach.
Mark is survived by his wife, Julie (Strahan); his sons, Braden (Kerri), Dustin (Hannah), and his grandchildren, Allison, Miles, Max, Charlotte, Vivienne, and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his siblings, Jane, John (Patricia), and Matt (Joann), as well as extended family and many friends.
A Celebration of Markās life will be held on October 10, 2026. Visitation begins at 2pm followed by the service at 3pm at Legacy Christian Church, 2150 E. Langsford Road, Leeās Summit, Missouri (casual dress). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Markās honor to Blood Cancer United at givenow.bloodcancerunited.org.
