Martha E. Wheatley, 61, Cleveland, MO passed away January 25, 2009. Visitation will be held 6-7 PM, Friday, January 30, 2009 at Colonial Presbyterian Church @ 95th & Wornell. Memorial services will begin at 7 PM at the church.

Martha was born September 16, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. She was a day care provider for over 25 years. Survivors include; husband of 39 years, George Weatley; daughters & sons in law, Becky & Brian Smith, Cleveland, MO, Julie & Jay Smith, Peculiar, MO; son, Scott Wheatley, Lee’s Summit, MO; sisters, June Ricks, Susan Hollweg, Ann Jones; brothers, John, Bill & David Motley; grandchildren, Zack, Issac.     Martha loved me, my husband, and my children unconditionally. What more could a sister ask for? I will miss her with all my heart.

    I have many fond childhood memories of visiting Martha and the rest of my cousins. My thoughts and prayers are with Dick, her kids, grandkids and siblings. Love, Kathy

    There is really only word to describe mom…..LOVE.
    Everything she did, she did with love. She loved her family. She loved every single child she ever watched as her very own. She cherished every friend she had. Her faith was strong and her heart was always open. She will be missed but always and forever loved.
