Martha Louise Ludden, 79, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008, at John Knox Care Center in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2008, at the Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery. Martha was born in Wichita, Kan., on August 24, 1928. She worked as a bookkeeper and was an avid seamstress, was active in the PTA, a volunteer for the Visiting Nurses Association, and was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne V. Ludden. Survivors include daughter Karen L. and husband Bill Rust, Raymore, Mo.; sons James P. Ludden, Kansas City, Mo., Mark V. Ludden, Raytown, Mo., Wayne M. and wife Beckie Ludden, Kansas City, Mo., Christopher K. Ludden, Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
