MARTHA MARIE MCCOLLUM

Martha McCollum, 74, Kansas City, MO, passed away September 8, 2012. A visitation will be held at  2pm with a memorial service following at 3pm, Saturday, September 15th at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Edward McCollum; siblings,  Mike Cates, Patsy DeGraeve, Lynda Cates-Tucker, Danny Cates and Judy Allen. Survivors include; children Kim Sherman, John McCollum, LeeAnn Morris, Shannon McCollum, Christopher McCollum; significant other, Don Gunselman; siblings, Nora Cranfield, Norman Cates, Jimmy Cates, Theresa Moreno, Sallie Steel, Karen Padilla, Rita Tarantino, Jeanette Stevens; 8 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice.

There is tranquility in knowing she walks with God the Most High in Paradise and is now at peace reunited with family. May The Good Lords Blessings and Angels Always Surround her Family.     Feel like I knew Tiny most of my adult like. Met her and Ed when I was about 16 and she would have been in her mid 20’s. I have many warm memories of both folks.
    We all will miss the sweet, smart wonderful lady she was and always will be in our hearts.

    My sincere condolences to all the family.
