Mary Brenda Rearden

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Brenda Rearden, of Independence, Missouri announces her passing at the age of 64. She was born in Vienna, Missouri on March 2, 1954. She entered Heaven’s gates on December 6, 2018.
A loving mother of two daughters and homemaker, Brenda was a remarkable cook. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. For many years leading up to her passing, she cared for her furbabies, while missing her lifelong love, Dennis. Momma loved to watch General Hospital and cooking channels. She was a dedicated mother, wife, daughter and sister. Her quick wit and sense of humor were her trademark wherever she went. Brenda graduated from Raytown High School in 1972 then became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was preceded in death by her soulmate and husband Dennis Lee Rearden. She was also predeceased by her parents and brother Kevin Austin.
Brenda is survived by her two daughters — Sarah Elizabeth and Nicole Erin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews, and four siblings. Brenda was very spiritual and devoted to her faith in God The Father. A private memorial service celebrating her life will be held.
