Mary Cobb

Mary C. Beebe Cobb, 95, formally of Fayetteville, Arkansas and currently of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away March 24, 2003 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, Missouri. She was born February 8, 1908 in Sherman, Texas to J.R. and Nicie Campbell. She later moved to Fayetteville, where she helped establish Babe’s Jewelers in 1943, until she retired and moved to Grain Valley. Mary was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and one-time Director of the Children’s department at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. She was also a volunteer at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She attended and was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Mission in Grain Valley, Missouri. She is survived by one daughter, Betty and one son-in-law Loye L. Elliott, and one son, Robert (Bob) and daughter-in-law, Joanne Hall. She has 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made, in memory of Mary, to the Cross Creek Baptist Mission building fund of Grain Valley, or any charity of your choice.
