Mary Eaton, 84, Blue Springs, Mo passed away June 16, 2019. Visitation 10-11 AM followed by a celebration service at 11 on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Calvary Baptist, 1915 N. Liberty, Independence, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Calvary Baptist Church.
Mary Lou Eaton, 84, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed from this world on June 16, 2019 at 8:41PM and claimed the promise of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is now together with him in Heaven. Mary Lou was born on December 17, 1934 in rural St. Clair County near the town of Osceola, Missouri.
Mary Lou was a kind and generous person devoted to her family, her friends, and most of all to her savior Jesus Christ. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church of Independence for over 54 years leading in many capacities during that time including Sunday school teaching and women’s missionary leader as well.
Preceding her in death were her mother and father Bertha and Roy Foster, brother Harold Foster and wife June, brother Roy Foster, and brother James Foster.
Surviving her are husband Paul M. Eaton; three children, Susan L. (Greg) Bowerman, Jeanne L. (Gary) Thompson, and Michael M. (Sherri) Eaton; 5 grandchildren, Christine (Shawn) Henesse, Scott (Sally) Bowerman, Amy (Brandon) Treece, Erica Eaton, and Mikey Eaton; 4 great-grandchildren, Addisyn Bowerman, Braydn Bowerman, Steven Treece, and Myla Treece, sisters; Ruth Thornton, Francis Lightner, brother David Foster and wife Carolyn, sisters-in-law Judy Foster, Lela Foster, and Dorla Kemper, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mary Lou’s legacy from her time on this Earth was her love and caring for others. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all the many friends she made over the years.
My family and I express our deepest sympathy for the loss of Mary Lou as we have known all of you for many years….She has an eternal home now. Our Love and prayers, Bobby Fleming and Children
