Mary Elizabeth Helms of Brumley, MO passed away July 8, 2024 at the age of 68 in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Mary was born in Skidmore, MO to Finas (Jack) and Callie McGowan.
Mary is survived by: her husband of 52 years, Louie Helms; her daughter LeaAnn and her husband David Maylee, of Iberia, MO.; her son Timothy and his wife Megan of Lebanon, MO.; and her grandchildren, Emma, Hadley, Kaisen, and Ellyett.
She worked hard balancing the life of being a dedicated mother, grandmother, and working in the Dietary Department at Lake Regional Hospital, where she retired in November of 2022.
She enjoyed spending her free time with her grandchildren, watching her hummingbirds, and working in her yard.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for September 14, 2024.
