Mary Fuller

Mary Ellen Fuller, of Fulton, died February 1, 2009 at her home in Fulton due to complications of cancer.  She was born January 16, 1948 in Moberly, MO the daughter of Gordon and Genevieve (Patton) Murphy.  Mary Ellen graduated from Moberly High School in 1966.  She married Brian Fuller on October 29, 1977 and he survives at their home in Fulton.  After many years in Medical Records and Administration at the Callaway County/Community Hospital, she worked at Village Wine and Cheese, Blattner Home Furnishings, and was the owner of the Court Street Café in Fulton.  She also managed the family business, Fuller Jewelry.  She is survived by her mother, Genevieve Murphy of Fulton; her husband Brian; her son Chris Huston and his partner Beth Hunter of Columbia; one brother David Murphy of Sarasota, Florida; and a cousin Robert Patton and wife Helen and family of St. Joseph, MO.  Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Murphy and her son Jeff Huston.  Mary Ellen will be missed by many friends and family.  She loved her puppies and requested memorials be made to the Garrett Animal Shelter in Fulton.
