Mary Ellen Williams Wendel, 93, passed away peacefully at John Knox Village in Lees Summit, MO on Tuesday June 10, 2025. Mary was born on August 21, 1931 in Kansas City, MO.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Rick; son, Rick Jr.; and daughter, Terry Diane Conroy.
Survivors include: grandson, Zachary Conroy of Portland, Oregon; sisters, Betty Clark and husband Dick Clark of Corpus Christi, TX, Pat and her husband Gene Sullins of Lee’s Summit, MO.
Inurnment will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorial service will be held at John Knox Village Chapel, 400 Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Beautiful lady, heart mind and soul. Will be missing her in my life dearly. All friends and family are welcome to celebrate this wonderful woman’s life at her celebration of life ceremony on 7/12/2025. I look forward to seeing familiar faces, friends and family.
