Mary Irene Foster

It is with sincere sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Irene Foster. We are honored to be her sons and will live our lives trying to be worthy of the courage and dignity she showed in her last hours. It is true Cancer ultimately won out but it is a hollow victory. Mom faced the unknown with a courage that she did not know she possessed. Yes, Cancer took her but she refused to show an ounce of fear to such a hateful disease.
Mary leaves behind two Sons, William Warren and Michael Foster while she joins our brother Brian Mize in eternity. There are also many cousins, nieces, nephews and a bevy of grandchildren and great grandchildren who are all loved deeply.
A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society. Followed by a graveside serviced at Mount Washington Cemetery
Godspeed Mom, we will try to carry on…

Mary, you were the kindest person that anyone could meet. Yes cancer ultimately won its but you won everyone’s hearts and minds when you first met them. I wish I could have seen you before your passing but I will always love you Mary as if you were my own grandmother. You would always end a conversation “when are you going to come see me?” Well, i will see you when it’s my time. Please wait for me, I’ll see you soon. Love you,

    Matt
