    Dear Wendy,

I’ve not had the pleasure of meeting you, yet; but feel like I know you from all the wonderful things David says. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. I lost mine in 2006 and still think about her everyday. The obituary reflects the depth of love your mom was surrounded by. Know that she will be in your heart always. I prayed to my mom to be there for your mom as she entered Heaven. You can never have enough friends. You two look so much alike. I share your grief and pain.

    Hugs and warm thoughts,
    Mary De Shon

    Dear Wendy,

My heart is very sad for you right now at the passing of your wonderful Mother. Even though I met Mary many times through the years I was never able to spend much quality time with her. Yet I feel like I did know her well…because I know you and I think you are very much like your Mom…in the way you care about your family, the way you treat your friends and the love you show to everyone you come in contact with. As my Sister-In-Law for all these years…I have always loved you and appreciated the way you have shown your love to Dave, Johnathan, me and my family. They say the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree…and I think that’s true when it comes to you and your Mom. I’m so sorry for your loss. You can never replace her…only try to repay her…for all she did for you…by living your life the way she taught you….with love and kindness in your heart. My prayer is that God will hold you tight through these tough days ahead. We love you very much!
